It hisses air when i step on, continues hissing when i step off. It's not from the plug, its from where the rubber base of the plug area meets the plastic. Not sure if that's normal? For some reason the bosu ball at the gym is much more challenging and unstable?
Edit: okay, despite the hissing, the ball is retaining air! Customer service is top notch, very attentive and responsive. Also came with a premium jump rope and elastic band. I first had purchased an off-brand from Amazon but returned it to get the bosu brand and I'm happy with my decision.
I just wish i could figure out why the bosu at the gym is so much more challenging and unstable? I've tried various levels of inflation and using it on different flooring.

Love the MYSTERY BOX - NexGen™ Balance Trainer. And the color... It's a surprise. It came dark gray on black. I don't care about what color is being tested. I care about quality, and it is the same as the regular-priced ones. Absolutely worth it!

I own two original BoSu and now the next gen-thank you bosu for making it affordable for tiny biz owners. This mystery box offer allowed Bosu to get rid of extra inventory but also gave me, as a small Pilates studio owner, a way to purchase a next gen at a lower cost.
I love the grip on top esp for my older clients. The grip for your hands or feet is great at firing up proprioceptive awareness too. And also since most of my clients are shoeless in my studio-in grippy socks-having an extra layer of grip in important. I also love that if I have 2 clients and am placing them verbally into position I can use those four quadrants to guide them where I need their hands or feet to be. Speeds things up.
There was a snafu in shipping. I got the wrong item. Bosu CS QUICKLY responded to my email and after a few pics and emails, got my mystery next gen sent out fast. THANK YOU BOSU CS!!!!

Love the mystery bosu. It’s a blue colored one without the little feet on the bottom, and it came in great shape. I’d been wanting a bosu, because it’s always been one of my favorite pieces to use at the gym, but was hesitant about the price, so I was super happy to stumble across this sale item. Between myself and my dancer daughter it has been in constant use since it arrived. It makes a lovely addition to my home gym and I would totally buy this again. Thank you for an awesome product.

I ordered the mystery box because I love a good surprise! It came and it’s my son’s favorite color so it fits right into our gym! I have knee and ankle issues and was using one of these at PT and this is a great tool to strengthen my ankles and knees

Rating is a guess. I received the bosu bal, and pump in a box that had been opened. Device is useless without the plug that should be in the box. No response to email sent to help desk.
