Heavy duty ball I asked for Christmas, really glad my brother splurged and got me the original brand name one instead of a knock off-imitation because this one is really sturdy in comparison with the competitors (based on their pictures I saw browsing online). I only used it once for a workout with my personal trainer but I really liked it and felt challenged. I am looking forward to using it again in the future and building up my strength! I am athletic and love incorporating this ball into my exercise routine as a way to mix it up and keep things interesting because I am distracted/bored easily and this keeps me excited and engaged during workouts. I am really glad I added to this to my home gym workout collection of dumbbells, kettle bells, sliders, yoga straps, foam blocks, cork blocks, headstand trainer (and what inevitably will be more). I am really a fan of working out at home and love this for workouts with my personal trainer. I am a 32 (soon to be 33!) y/o athletic woman who does yoga, roller blading, dance and strength training. I highly recommend this for anyone who is on the fence. Downside (or upside) is you cannot deflate it easily once you have inflated it (so you have to keep it inflated) and you need two people to inflate it (I had someone help me who held it while I pumped it using manual pump attached). I also cannot travel with it because it is too heavy/wide to fit in suitcase (yes, really) and it is cumbersome to move (also plus/minus because it won’t fly around during workouts but it is a bit of a hassle to move it around). Overall 5/5 for use but 4/5 for practical reasons with inflating/deflating and storage/transportation (but that’s just me). Also I don’t like that it’s not compatible with the rolling cart they sell and that I will have to buy a completely different set (but that’s just for my personal preference when it comes to the type of athletic training I want to do). Very pleased and will definitely use. 100% recommend.

My Bosu lacked a registration tag - is there a way to find out this information so I can register it ?
The first purchase was through Amazon (Spreetail) which basically sent me a defective Bosu which I had to return. Frankly I found Spreetail to be quite shady. The second time I decided to purchase directly. The Bosu was fine but the loose pump in the box got broken which isn't a surprise given how there was no protection. So I had to ask multiple times to get another pump sent which took another week. As for the Bosu itself, it seems fine, but compared to my original Bosu it makes a "breathing" sound when pressed on and I'm still not sure about the ridges since it could feel a bit uncomfortable when balancing on the knee.
I love having this tool in my circuit workout arsenal!
My Bosu arrived right on time, and I use it every day. Really improves my balance and ankle stability!!

I am 76 years old and have a daily flexibility and strength exercise program along with 3 to 5 days of indoor cycling on a smart trainer and app. I wanted to add balance exercises to my daily routine and while I found some that I could do without aids, my research led me to the BOSU as the best aid to further improve my balance routine and it is living up to my expectations.
The Bosu ball helped me get back into shape for cross country skiing after a thirty year hiatus. Mow I am skiing 10 miles a day in northern Vermont. I love it.

I have been trying to reach customer service and get NO RESPONSE. My item arrived damaged and I need it to be replaced!!!!

This is our second Bosu balance ball so that we each have one. My husband tried another brand but it actually broke and couldn't be repaired so he went back to the Bosu balance ball.
I ordered this as a gift and she loves it!

I’m stilling waiting for customer svc to contact me back. Not sure why there are lesser versions of bosu pro. I thought nexgen would be ok for personal use but it keeps hissing out air. Had I known, I would’ve just paid more and gotten the pro version.

I love my Bosu! It's the best way I know to train balance and add intensity to my workouts.
I do have a question...every time I step on the Bosu I hear the sound of the air going out. The sound stops and I do not think air is actually being lost, but is this normal?
Store owner replied: The air escape sound could be normal and will go away overtime with use as the material settles inside of the base. There is dead space between the bladder and platform and that is most likely what you are hearing. We suggest keeping an eye on the unit for a day or so to confirm if it is retaining air or not.

I had a great experience, ordering my Bosu. I had the wrong delivery address and it was fixed very quickly with an email request. Delivery was so fast as well.
Customer service is fantastic. The BOSU itself is not of the same quality that my original one (from over 15 years ago) was. Still a good product
I love the NextGen because of its improved footgrip, especially for my partner. I first became acquainted with the BOSU ball 10 years ago when she was recovering from brain surgery and her therapists used it as part of her rehab. We've been using them ever since. It's a wonderful piece of equipment--so versatile. I would not ever willingly be without one. However, if I am being honest I must add that I am a little surprised and disappointed that my hands don't get as good a grip on the NextGen as I had anticipated. The ridges and nubs tend to repell my hands if I'm not careful (like in various kinds of planks, planches and so on). I will adjust to this so I'm not worried. It just surprised me a little.
I love the exercise videos I have access to plus the BOSU adds extra intensity when I incorporate it into my normal workouts. A bonus - my partner uses it almost as much as I do. It has breathed new life into what had become stale, boring routines.
