My Gym is ready. I finally have with me my new Bosu balance trainer! After using it a lot in my local gym, i made the move (now that i have more space) and purchased this one that will help me for sure to strengthen my ankles. I was told years ago i should use a bulky ankle support but with the balance trainer, i managed to not only remove this uncomfortable thing, but also i prepared and ran a decent NYC Marathon!. This balance trainer has been amazing to improve the muscle on my ankle, as well as allow me much better stability in general. Thanks Bosu..

This is the second Bosu (the pro, and basic one) I have ordered that has not kept its air. I don’t recommend. Or if you get one, be prepared to have to try a few before you get one that works properly.

I love my new BOSU! The color makes me want to use it every day. Easy to inflate and great piece of equipment, the targets many muscle groups.

I love my new Bosu. I am using it the way that the therapy center is showing me how to use it to get stronger from an ankle injury .I have no strength in my ankle right now and I’m trying to get stronger medial muscles.

Love it! They taught me how to use this in physical therapy because I've been having foot pain, and needed to also strength my ankles and calves. This was perfect. I just wish it came with directions! I had a little trouble finding how to inflate it and make the pin go in all the way. But I'm glad to finally own one and now i can do my exercises at home.

I love my Bosu ball. So many ways to use it :)

My physical therapist had me use the Bosu for stability exercises after ACL reconstruction surgery. I truly hated it. It made me very uncomfortable to stand on an unsteady surface. He would occasionally turn it upside down and I would stand on it and then catch a weighted ball. I had supports on both sides of me in case I lost balance. Over time, as I rebuilt strength in my legs and started engaging my core more, I found that my Bosu exercises became a fun challenge. Additionally, they worked multiple muscles in my legs with more rigor than other exercising tools. When my PT sessions tapered down, I realized that I missed the Bosu. Having gone through a major medical treatment, I have zero savings or budget to spend on expensive training equipment. I tried to find a Bosu on Craigslist or FB marketplace to no avail. Either it’s not widely used, or the people who do use it don’t want to sell it. I was glad to find it discounted, cheaper than Amazon, and with more color options on Bosu’s own website. After buying it, I realized that when I’m not using it for PT exercises, it’s actually a really comfortable floor pillow/chair. I use it in the corner of my couch. I rarely put it away. I think with more sleek or neutral color options, it could be some avante-garde furniture, haha. My one complaint is that it does not hold air completely. It was difficult to get the plastic valve thing in, and when I finally did, it still released a bit of air (but not enough to warrant reinflating it after one use). I think the company should work on improving that aspect of the tool. Also, some more grippy material on the bottom would be cool as well, but I can DIY that myself.

My Bosu Ball worked fine until it started leaking air and went flat. I tried inflating it and found cracks in the material near the base where the air is leaking. I have ordered the suggested patch but would rather have one I know I can count on. I weigh 162 pounds and only sit on it to do abdominal crunches every morning for 10-12 minutes. Cannot find a way to contact the company.

I received my Bosu ball today and I’m already in love. I was apprehensive about the purchase because the model I wanted was sold out…but I really wanted to get a cute color so I opted for the Home trainer. I’m a newbie so I figured it would be fine& it is! It was quite cumbersome to air up, but I had my little assistant help out and we got it done. I e already done a workout tonight and I cannot wait to do more! It’s sturdy, doesn’t slip and does what it says! Happy!

A great, sturdy piece of equipment. It was easy to inflate and holds my weight well (haha!) IT does make the whooshing noise that people talk about but it's not losing air anywhere so it doesn't bother me. I have used it for a few weeks and am looking forward to seeing what other exercises I can do with it.

This is by far the best thing for working out your abs. If supports you back for less added stress.

I first used a bosu ball during physical therapy and I really enjoyed using it so I bought one for myself!

I haven't had it for too long (I only inflated it about 1 week ago!) but so far so good! It came with a pump and was not too difficult to inflate (the first pumps were hard, then it was really easy). A tiny circular piece of blue plastic did fly out when I was pumping, which shocked me, but I'm assuming it's from when the inflation hole was made. I used a sheet of paper to give guidance to figure out when it had a good amount of air. It feels really sturdy and definitely challenges the muscles in my feet, legs, and core to maintain balance - even when I am just standing on 2 legs! I am really excited to have this at home since I used it briefly during PT for my legs earlier this year, and want to continue it for at home PT, as well as general strengthening of my muscles for balance since I enjoy iceskating! The only con I have so far is that it is a dust/ shedded hair magnet lol. Also, sometimes when I stand on it I hear a hissing noise for a moment.. the ball itself doesn't seem to be deflating, and the FAQs say it is normal to hear that in the beginning, but I'll be keeping a close eye on it!
Jasmine E. 5/5
The unit is great but the pump is HORRIBLE. The pump nozzle doesn’t fill the hole completely nor does it seal around the hole. Every time you pump air in pretty much 2/3 of it leaks out so you have to pump like a demon to try to get the ball filled. This is disappointing given this is an expensive unit. The Bosu Ball itself is fantastic but the pump starts things off on the wrong foot.

The ball leaks air after securely attaching the pin. Every time I get on it, I can hear PTSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Max P. 2/5 Verified
Store owner replied: The air escape sound could be normal and will go away overtime with use as the material settles inside of the base. There is dead space between the bladder and platform and that is most likely what you are hearing. We suggest keeping an eye on the unit for a day or so to confirm if it is retaining air or not. If you are noticing that the BOSU is deflating after a day or two, please email us at Help@BOSU.com

Purchased as this was one of the things I had to do in physical therapy for a torn meniscus. All the exercises I was doing in PT, including this balance trainer, will continue forever. Never knew my balance was so “off” as I’m a yoga junky. Yes, yoga was how my meniscus was torn. Happy to have this balance trainer in my home.

Good piece of gear to have in any gym or at home. Really helps with the lat lunges and body weight or weighted lunges for strengthening hips and posterior chain.

The packaging completely sucked. It was flimsy and basically destroyed and the product showed up with no pump or instructions. They likely fell out as it looked like Ace Ventura had kicked it up and down the street.
