When I received this item, it was completely broken in two pieces. I can’t even use it. I tried to email the company to return it but nothing was emailed back to me. So I am stuck with a broken get started here kit. Thanks Bosu!

So excited to use the Bosu; however it arrived with a broken pump out of the box. I need a new pump and don't want to pay for a defective item plus shipping when it was supposed to be in box ready to use.
Subject: Defective BOSU Ball – Air Loss & Stopper Issue
Hello,
I recently purchased a BOSU ball from Amazon, and I’m experiencing an issue that I believe may be a product defect.
The ball has already lost air much faster than expected, even though it has not been heavily used. In addition, I’m unable to remove the air stopper to re-inflate it. The stopper seems stuck, and I’m concerned about damaging the product if I try to force it out.
Because the air deflated so quickly and I cannot access the valve properly, I’m worried there may be a leak or a valve defect. This makes the BOSU ball unusable.
Could you please advise on:
• How to safely remove the stopper
• Whether this issue is covered under warranty
• Replacement or repair options

You can use a metal spoon to remove the plug, and add more air. However, it sounds like your unit is defective. If you are still within the first 30 days - I recommend reaching out to amazon for an exchange/return. If it has been more than 30 days please email help@bosu.com and we will get you taken care of. We will need the following information:
1. proof of purchase
2. Serial number - located on a white sticker on the base ###/##
3. mailing address

I wrote you to ask for replacement but same comment on the pump seems pretty inferior as well as the end pieces . I will write to you as need a replacement as it is pretty useless as i have it. Thanks barry
Bought a BOSU through Rogue Fitness. Filled it up, pump worked great. Two months later, as temperatures in my workout area cooled, the ball lost pressure, so I pulled the plug and...the pump didn't work. Found an old pump from a "yoga ball" to refill it. For the price of a BOSU, the pump should work for more than one fill.

I was looking forward to the Balance Trainer, but the useless, cheap pump is a Slip in the Face and there was no plugs in the Package. Here I am, stuck with an expensive piece of useless plastic….

I bought a BOSU from a garage sale and needed the starter kit
Cheap useless pump. For such a well made ball, it is a disgrace to offer such pump. I am now googling which proper pump would work with BOSU ball, so that I can actually inflate and use it. If BOSU has a recommendation for an easy-to-use pump that is compatible, please post it, or even better, offer for sale on your website.

It is usually best to hold the balance trainer itself at an angle (so that it's not laying up against a hard surface) and just insert just the tip of the pump. Once you get a little bit of air in then you should be able to insert the pump all the way. If you insert the pump all the way at the beginning and pull back, it will try to suction to the other side of the bladder making it difficult to inflate. If this doesn't help please reach out to help@bosu.com
I've had my Bosu for a number of years and absolutely love it for working on my balance and strength. I moved out of state and I had to deflate it. Well once I got settled into my new home and tried using the old pump, it seemed that the rubber gasket had gotten out of round, meaning that it was broken.
I ordered a new one and a wrench and after far too long, it arrived and worked marvelously.
I love my Bosu ball! It's super efficient for training your balance & I have it in my apartment so I can train a little but very often. There are so many uses for this tool & later will get to those as well, but for now I'm in urgent need of better balance (I have osteoporosis, & the best preventive is if you don't fall). Also, when I wrote of some issues on how to inflate it, I got a super fast response that was very helpful. Great!
It's very hard to get the plug all they way in. Every tiem i astep on hte ball i hear air seep out!? How are you supposed to get the plug in properly & so that it stays firm?

It is normal for the plug to stick out just a little bit, they don't always lay completely flush to the unit. The air escape sound could be normal and will go away overtime with use as the material settles inside of the base. There is dead space between the bladder and platform and that is most likely what you are hearing.

We moved 18 months ago and couldn't find our Bosu pump. We've had our Bosu for many years and I was concerned that Bosu had gone out of business or that our pump might not be available any longer. But Bosu was doing fine and quickly shipped us a new pump. Horray for Bosu!
My original plug fell between the flat plastic Bosu base and the base of the ball. I can hear it rattling around but can't get it out, and the Bosu is unusable without the plug. The two plugs that come in the Get Started Kit work great. However, the pump is cheap and useless. I don't think it could pump up a balloon. If I'd known just how bad the pump was, I would never have ordered it. I would've ordered just the plugs.
