My BOSU pump leaked as I was inflating the half dome balance piece but I got it to 8 1/2” height and plugged with the BOSU plug and within 24 hours it deflated…. I was pretty disappointed. I tried my FitPaws pump and a different plug and it still deflated. Help, maybe I should send it back?

Overall, I’m semi pleased with my purchase. However, the base does not line up with the ball. Although it is good construction and durable, this throws off your hand placement.

The pump that came with the Bosu was broken at the time of arrival. Luckily we could use a bike pump to inflate

The BOSU ball works very well. I appreciate that the instructions mentioned that there would be a hiss of air getting on and off of it so that I didn't think it was leaking.

I was sent the wrong color :( Ordered black and was sent magenta. Not worth the hassle at Christmas to try and send it back and wait for a new one.

I am starting out slow do to work issues. However it is great to use when I fit it in. Will be hitting much harder next week.
The pump to inflate the Bosu is very poorly designed and very clumsy to use. Next to impossible to inflate adequately with it. The pump handle should have a larger diameter than the base, Thankfully, I had another pump that worked fantastic.

I love the look. However, I had the darnedest time trying to inflate it and had to bring it to my PT's office and use their pump. Also: I hear a hissing noise every time I get on it. My PT and I couldn't tell if it's air leaking or not. Doesn't seem like it should be doing that. We also checked the plug and it's not coming from there either.

Didnt come with instructions in the box so i had to look up on line. Other than that all is good, its a good product.
I had one about 2 years ago and it got a tear in it and I never replaced it. I’am seventy one and my doctor has told me to tone down my lifting, and work more with body weight exercises and balance. The first thing I thought of was the Bosu ball. Got online to oder and saw the helm bar also, so ordered both. I have started off with pushups with a bur-bee, squats with a kettlebell, sit outs to work my side obliques, and holding the pushup position for 45 seconds and then 10 alternating knee to arm. This is one great product for a multitude of exercises. Those of you up there in age this is great for full range of motion exercises and cardio workouts. Great investment for a long and healthy lifestyle. Remember “ Go hard or Go sit on the couch!”
I didn’t know I needed this in my life at home and can’t wait to try out all of the ways I can use it.
great assistance with my balance
Unfortunately, we haven't even been able to use this! I ordered April 1 for an April 20 gift. Shipping was slow so I'm glad I ordered ahead. On April 20, we opened the package and where the package claims it comes with 2 included plugs, ours had 0 plugs. We can't seal the Bosu to use it! The package was pretty banged up from shipping so maybe that is the cause, but the pump that holds the claimed 2 plugs was empty. Bosu Customer Service has been friendly and kind, but they offered to send only 1 plug out on April 21. It's been 2 weeks since then. I waited a week and then asked for tracking. They kindly provided that, but the USPS Tracking shows 2 days passed to create a label, a week then passed to actually ship the package, and now nothing. Now the tracking is stalled and no updates. I think it would be smarter to not buy direct through Bosu.

I can see that on 4/21 we put in an order for 2 replacements plugs, i'm unsure why it took USPS so long to get this item scanned in. However, now it appears that the plugs have gone missing in transit because it hasn't updated in days. I will personally go put a few more plugs in the mail to ensure they go out today. I apologize for this inconvenience.

It’s very nice. The only problem we had was blowing it up after we opened the box. It was basically suctioned together and the little pump it came with was not working properly. We ended up using our portable compressor and it was fine.

Bosu is fine. The package it came in was torn up badly. I was worried it had been punctured. It is hold air and seems to be performing fine.
I like the texture of the BOSU, almost tire like and not slippery. I might have a defective one because when I stand on it or push down, it sounds like air is escaping out of one of the bottom feet.

Store owner replied: Hi Lynsey The air escape sound could be normal and will go away overtime with use as the material settles inside of the base. There is dead space between the bladder and platform and that is most likely what you are hearing. If you notice the unit leaking to the point that you have to re-inflate please email help@bosu.com

Great product
The balance ball arrived in a deformed and half ripped cardboard box, no additional plastic packaging, as a result the ball was dirty and dusty. The included pump is of extremely poor quality, we had to use a pump from our Vevor balance trainer to inflate the Bosu. There is no tool to remove the air plug. I purchased a Vevor balance trainer for 1/3 of the price, no issues whatsoever. Feels like Bosu is charging for name only. Very disappointing!
